Sadiq Khan is the Member of Parliament for Tooting, where he has lived all his life. He was first elected as MP for Tooting on 5th May 2005 and was re-elected on 6th May 2010. Sadiq Aman Khan was appointed Minister of State for Communities by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, making him the second-ever British Pakistani to serve in the UK Government.

Nazir Afzal OBE, is the Chief Crown Prosecutor of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for North West England. He is the first British Pakistani Muslim to be appointed to such a position and is Britain's most senior Muslim lawyer within the CPS. He has campaigned for women's rights and spoken out against forced marriage, female genital mutilation and honour killings.

A lawyer, a businesswoman, a campaigner and a cabinet minister, Sayeeda Warsi has had many roles, but she is best known for being the first British Pakistani Muslim to serve in a British cabinet and the foremost Muslim politician in the Western world. In August 2014 she resigned from Government citing the Government’s “morally indefensible” policy on Gaza.

Ghulam Rasul Shahzad is indeed a versatile person. He is shouldering quite a number of responsibilities in his different roles and capacities. He is sociable, friendly and a committed person who goes all the way to extend his help and assistance to individuals and the wider community alike. His personal achievements On 6 December 2004, Mr.Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, to a reception, invited him where he met him personally.

Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh is an actress, lawyer, and politician of Pakistani descent in the Scottish National Party. She is the founder and chair of the Scottish Asian Women's Association. Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh was born in Chelsea in 1970, and raised in Edinburgh. Her mother is half-Welsh and half-Czech, and her father was born in India, then migrated to Pakistan and finally to the United Kingdom. She is a practising Muslim and has three children. She received an OBE in the 2014 New Year Honours.

Yasmin Qureshi has been the Member of Parliament for Bolton South East since the 2010 General Election.
Education
She obtained a BA (Hons) Law degree and completed her Barrister at laws examinations at the Council of Legal Education. She obtained a  Master of Laws at University College London.
