Sadiq Khan is the Member of Parliament for Tooting, where he has lived all his life. He was first elected as MP for Tooting on 5th May 2005 and was re-elected on 6th May 2010. Sadiq Aman Khan was appointed Minister of State for Communities by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, making him the second-ever British Pakistani to serve in the UK Government.

Qurban Hussain, The Lord Hussain (born 27 March 1956) is a British Liberal Democrat politician and life peer. He was the unsuccessful candidate for parliament for Luton South in 2005 and 2010. He was firstly a member of the Labour Party, from 1996 to 2003 but then joined the Liberal Democrats. He has been a member of Luton Borough Council since 2003, serving as its Deputy Leader from 2005 to 2007.

Nosheena Mobarik has championed business development and greater social cohesion within Scotland and internationally. She has a special interest in promoting harmonious relationships between business and the communities, such that both can thrive. Business can deliver prosperity and be a great force for good. It can be immensely more effective through a better understanding and engagement of the communities it serves locally, nationally and internationally.

Mohammad Asghar (born 30 September 1945), known as Oscar, is a Welsh politician of Pakistani descent, who has been a member of the Welsh Conservative Party, the Welsh Labour Party, and Plaid Cymru. He came to prominence after being elected to the Welsh Assembly in 2007 as a member of Plaid Cymru on the list for South Wales East.
