Naseem Shah (Urdu: نسیم شاہ‎) (born 13 November 1973) is a British Labour Party politician. She was elected at the 2015 general election as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bradford West, winning the seat from George Galloway of the Respect Party.

British Pakistani Boxer Hamza Mehmood made history by becoming the first British boxer of Pakistani origin to win back to back Elite National Championships. Hamza who is only 19 defeated Connor Dally by a split session in the 52 weight category on April 13. After his win, he is in the list of probables to represent Team GB in the Olympics.

Salma Yaqoob (born 1971) is the former leader, and former vice-chair, of the Respect Party and a former Birmingham City Councillor. She is also the head of the Birmingham Stop the War Coalition and a spokesperson for Birmingham Central Mosque. On 11 September 2012, Yaqoob confirmed in a statement that she had left Respect.
